That was the first testimonial I ever received and it was from my friend Arun a.k.a Varun. Stupid fellow changed his name according to so called numerology. You'll always remain Arun for me! I can't ever remember seeing him without his trademark smile on his face. We all used to call him "Papa". Such a baby he was. How much he loved irritating me? We used to talk pointlessly and fight endlessly and chat for hours together!
The thing about him that I adored a lot, no matter how much we used to argue and fight, he used to always, ALWAYS come back and talk to me, pester me to check out his new photographs, try and convince me to model for him. At the end, I really never did know? :(
Never though he would leave so soon! I still wish this was all a nightmare. You made sure that you left atleast a tinge of your baby smile in every single person's life that you have met so far. When I was a teenager, fed up with my little brother and his tantrums, wishing every single day I had an elder brother, you were there Arun. You were always there for me! I know you are still up there watching me and my every action.
I don't know how you said this and how it came true but just like you said, when I was looking at you for that one last moment, I never cried. I had happy gleeful thoughts and memories of us, of u me and Madhuri, Anu, Harish,Ramya and Danush. I'll always cherish them forever because death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
I love you a lot you know that. You are missed by everyone. Your mom, dad and brother the most.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
Rest in peace Arun.
